Summer 2025 SAT Initiative

The Summer 2025 SAT Initiative is our flagship program, focusing on providing free, individualized SAT preparation to students in Brevard County, Florida—prioritizing students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Why This Matters

Students in underserved communities often have less access to educational resources, including standardized test preparation. SAT scores significantly impact college admissions and scholarship opportunities, including Florida's Bright Futures program. Many bright and capable students have the potential to excel with proper support but lack access to quality test preparation.

By focusing our initiative throughout Brevard County, we're addressing a critical need and helping to level the playing field for all students pursuing higher education across our community.

Personalized, Data-Driven Tutoring

Our program follows a structured, proven methodology:

  1. Diagnostic Assessment: Identifying each student's specific strengths and areas for improvement

  2. Customized Learning Plan: Creating targeted study strategies based on individual needs

  3. One-on-One Virtual Instruction: Providing personalized attention and support in a fully remote environment

  4. Practice Testing: Measuring progress and building test-taking confidence

  5. Ongoing Support: Offering resources, encouragement, and guidance throughout the process

We work to assist students throughout Brevard County who may lack digital access tools whenever possible. This virtual approach makes our program accessible to participants across the county while still delivering the personalized attention that consistently helps students achieve significant score improvements.

Who We Serve

Our initiative focuses on helping these specific student groups:

  • Scholarship Threshold Students: Those just below Bright Futures cutoffs (1210/1330) who could qualify with targeted preparation

  • Graduation Requirement Students: Students at risk of not graduating due to test scores

  • First-Generation College Applicants: Students who would be the first in their family to attend college

  • Economically Disadvantaged Students: Those unable to afford commercial test prep
