Future Initiatives
Expanding Our Educational Impact
While our PBMHS SAT Initiative is our first major program, ATS Educational Access Foundation is committed to developing additional initiatives to address educational disparities across diverse communities. Here's a glimpse of our vision for the future:
Early Readers Program
Research consistently shows that early literacy is a critical predictor of long-term academic success. We are developing an Early Readers Program designed to:
Provide one-on-one reading support for elementary school students in underserved communities
Create a structured curriculum that builds fundamental literacy skills
Offer digital and physical reading resources to families
Train volunteer reading mentors to provide consistent, quality support
Establish partnerships with local libraries and elementary schools
This initiative aims to ensure that all children, regardless of socioeconomic background, develop strong reading foundations during these critical early years.
ESL Tutoring in Community Centers
We recognize that language barriers often create significant obstacles to educational success. Our planned ESL tutoring program will:
Partner with community centers serving immigrant populations
Provide ESL-certified tutors to assist students and families
Develop customized language learning plans based on individual needs
Offer both academic English support and practical communication skills
Create a welcoming, supportive environment for multilingual learners
By addressing language barriers early, we can help ensure that non-native English speakers have access to the full range of educational opportunities.
Expanded Standardized Test Preparation
Building on our SAT initiative, we plan to develop additional test preparation programs for:
ACT, PSAT, and AP exams
GRE and other graduate admission tests
Professional certification exams
State assessment tests
These programs will follow our proven methodology of diagnostic assessment, personalized learning plans, and ongoing support.
College Application and Financial Aid Counseling
Navigating the college application and financial aid process can be overwhelming, especially for first-generation college students. We're developing a comprehensive support program that includes:
One-on-one guidance through the application process
Scholarship search assistance
Financial aid form completion support
College essay writing workshops
Interview preparation
